About

We're building the finance analyst Indian SMBs deserve.

Raven is an audit-grade financial intelligence layer for small and mid-sized Indian businesses on Zoho Books. It runs a senior-auditor-grade review of your statutory compliance, AR/AP and P&L every time your books change, and answers questions a founder or CA would otherwise dig through spreadsheets to figure out.

Why we built it

An SMB shouldn't need a CFO to see what's quietly going wrong.

Founders running small Indian businesses on Zoho Books usually find out about an MSMED breach, a margin blind spot or a GST mismatch six months too late — at year-end audit, when there's nothing to fix and only something to disclose. The auditor finds it. The accountant flags it. The founder hears about it last.

We thought it should work the other way around. Raven volunteers what a senior CA would walk into your office about — cited to the exact rows, in week one, not week 52.

How we build

Deterministic where it must be. Intelligent where it helps.

The exact statutory work — MSMED §15, Schedule III aging, GST treatment, TDS thresholds — is done by hand-written, tested rules. The same input gives the same finding next month and next year. AI is reserved for judgment categories (related-party, Ind AS 115, FEMA, cross-table reasoning) and never has a direct path to your Zoho. When Raven does write to your books — for a reconciliation entry, say — the AI proposes, deterministic code posts and you approve. Never the model itself.

Every claim Raven makes traces back to the source rows that produced it. Every change is logged with user, timestamp and reason. The audit trail isn't a feature on the side — it's how the finding was built in the first place.

Working with design partners now.

We're working closely with a small set of founders, finance teams and CA firms shaping what Raven does next. If you're running an SMB on Zoho and want a senior-auditor-grade second pair of eyes every time your books change — or you're a CA firm that wants to spend less time chasing draft bills and disallowance risk — we'd like to talk.
